ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Hachemi Djiar, serait-il le successeur de Bensalah ?
Ces dernières heures et avant que la réunion du parlement et du sénat ne se prononce sur la vacance du poste du président de la République, le nom de Hachemi Djiar est avancé sur la scène politique pour succéder à Abdelkader Bensalah et assurer par la suite l’intérim du chef de l’Etat.
« Ceux qui veulent commercialiser l’option Hachemi Djiar comptent duper le peuple en ramenant cet homme du système pour le propulser sur le fauteuil présidentiel », dira un des activistes du Hirak.
En effet, pour de nombreux spécialistes, Hachemi Djiar, est un pur produit de feu le général Larbi Belkhir, alias le Cardinal, grand manitou durant la présidence de feu Chadli Bendjeddid, qui le protégea durant sa carrière de chef de daira, puis de secrétaire général de wilaya avant de le propulser wali de Constantine, de Boumerdès et enfin d’Alger.
En 1988, il était wali d’Alger et à ce titre il a été la cible des jeunes manifestants en octobre 1988 qui ont incendié son domicile privé.
Plus tard, c’est le même Belkhir qui introduit son protégé dans la direction de campagne du candidat Bouteflika en 1999.
Il sera ensuite conseiller du président Bouteflika de 1999 à 2004 avant de devenir ministre de la communication ensuite ministre de la jeunesse et des sports.
Depuis qu’il a quitté le ministère de la jeunesse est des sports, Djiar est placé sénateur et chef du groupe du tiers présidentiel au Conseil de la nation.
Pour le clan Bouteflika, il est l’homme de la situation : bon orateur, fidèle et n’a pas froid aux yeux.
Mais est-ce que la rue et l’armée font cautionner cette option ? Pour beaucoup d’observateurs, cette initiative de propulser ce sénateur au fauteuil de la présidence est déjà enterrée.
