Le général à la retraite estime que « la solution constitutionnelle vient de montrer ses limites et les scandales financiers continuent à défrayer la chronique (Khalifa, Tonic emballage, BCIA, l’autoroute Est-ouest, l’affaire Sonatrach, l’affaire Haddad et toutes les autres affaires qui seront immanquablement dénoncées). » Il dénonce que » la corruption est devenue une véritable institution, l’économie refuse de décoller parce que rien n’est fait pour qu’elle décolle. »
Benhadid met en avant le rôle important et major qu’a joué la jeunesse dans cette révolution pacifique, il appelle Gaid Salah à écouter ce que la jeunesse » descendue par millions dans les rues a à nous dire » , « cette jeunesse qui a toujours été marginalisée, infantilisée, abrutie par un système éducatif qui n’a jamais œuvré dans le sens de l’excellence et du développement de l’esprit critique. Cette jeunesse qui a perdu confiance dans ses aînés, lesquels, s’ils ne sont pas corrompus, sont totalement démissionnaires. », cette jeunesse n’est heureusement pas encore corrompue, elle est encore saine et n’aspire qu’à mieux vivre. »
