ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Marée humaine en Algérie pour le dixième vendredi de manifestation contre le pouvoir
Le dixième vendredi contre l’actuel chef de l’État et pour exiger le départ du système a connu une importante mobilisation populaire à travers tout le pays. En effet, des millions de citoyens ont battu le pavé ce vendredi 16 avril à Alger et dans plusieurs villes d’Algérie, contre le pouvoir en place et revendiquer une transition démocratique.
Le nombre exact de manifestants est difficile à établir, ni les autorités ni les protestataires ne communiquant de chiffres. Mais la mobilisation est au moins similaire à celle du vendredi précédent, jugée exceptionnelle par les médias et analystes algériens.
Hommes, femmes et enfants ont commencé à marcher en début d’après-midi, dans une ambiance festive, dans les rues et ruelles du centre de la capitale, autour du carrefour de la Grande Poste, bâtiment emblématique du cœur d’Alger, et la foule continue d’affluer. La mobilisation est également « très forte » et comparable à celle de la semaine passée dans toutes les villes d’Algérie. Les cortèges se sont à nouveau déroulés dans le calme et sans incident.

À noter que les rangs de la marche ne cessaient de grossir au fur et à mesure que la foule avançait
« On voulait des élections sans Bouteflika, on se retrouve avec les résidus de Bouteflika et les élections », s’insurge une pancarte, résumant le sentiment des contestataires depuis le discours ambigu de Gaid Salah. « Quand on dit “non c’est NON”, il nous dit “alors on garde les élections avec les mêmes têtes du régime” », indique une autre. « Hé, ho, enlevez le clan [au pouvoir], on sera heureux », chantent, à pleins poumons, les manifestants – hommes, femmes et enfants, de tous âges.
Comme les semaines précédentes et à travers les quatre coins du pays, l’emblème national – vert et blanc, frappé du croissant et de l’étoile rouges – est omniprésent : drapeaux de toutes tailles, brandis ou portés en cape, écharpe, casquette… Le drapeau algérien est également largement déployé aux balcons des immeubles.
L’emblème Amazighe est aussi présent, malgré les rumeurs sur son interdiction. Il est dans toutes les manifestations à travers tout le pays.
