Sonatrach a réalisé, en effort propre, une nouvelle découverte de gaz à condensat dans le bassin de Tindouf, a annoncé mercredi la compagnie nationale des hydrocarbures dans un communiqué.
« La découverte a mis en évidence une accumulation de gaz à condensat grâce au puits ERTA-1 à partir d’un réservoir du type conventionnel », a précisé la même source.
« Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de la recherche en exploration, Sonatrach enregistre un résultat positif dans le bassin de Tindouf, une performance exceptionnelle qui ouvre de nouvelles perspectives dans cette région et qui, de plus, a été réalisé à 100% grâce aux capacités propres du groupe », a-t-on fait savoir.
Cette nouvelle découverte porte à huit le nombre de découvertes réalisées par Sonatrach, depuis le début de l’année 2019, a précisé la même source.
