ALGÉRIE/POLITIQUE : VENDREDI 14 : Alger quadrillée par des forces de l’ordre et plusieurs interpellations dès les premières heures.
Dès les premières heures de la matinée, un dispositif sécuritaire impressionnant a été déployé dans tous les quartiers de la capitale. Pour étouffer d’une part le mouvement de protestation et d’autre part contenir les manifestations contre le pouvoir, les forces de l’ordre ont accompli un travail titanesque. À l’est d’Alger, précisément à Bab Ezzouar, les forces de la Gendarmerie nationale ont été déployées au moment où des milliers de citoyens des régions de l’Est du pays tentent de rejoindre la capitale. A quelques kilomètres, les gendarmes ont bloqué, la circulation vers Alger et se sont déployés sur l’autoroute, plus exactement au niveau du quartier les Bananiers, et aussi du côté du cimetière El-Alia.
Ces derniers ont pu empêcher les milliers de citoyens Algériens d’atteindre Alger-Centre. Un peu plus loin, un dispositif renforcé de la police anti-émeute a été déployé également dans différents points à El Harrach.
A Alger Centre, les forces de l’ordre ont fermé les accès qui mènent vers la Grande Poste, place Audin, l’APN et tous les endroits supposés d’être occupés par les manifestants.
Des centaines de fourgons de police ont été stationnés tout au long de cet axe routier et des centaines de policiers y étaient déployés. En effet, les forces de sécurité ne voulaient pas avoir la surprise d’une éventuelle gigantesque manifestation. Dès l’aube, les services de sécurité avaient pris place, bouclant complètement le périmètre, ne laissant passer personne.
Un député RCD dénonce de « nombreuses interpellations » à Alger. « De nombreuses interpellations sont opérées par les services de sécurité depuis ce matin dont font partie des élus et la députée Nora Ouali. Gaïd Salah exécute l’état de siège sur Alger annoncé à travers son discours par la nouvelle gestion des marches populaires », écrit Atmane Mazouz sur son compte Facebook. « La dérive autoritaire en cours est une escalade dangereuse qui discrédite davantage l’institution militaire à travers son intrusion assumée dans l’empêchement des marches et de l’expression pacifiques et populaires », ajoute-t-il.
L’usage de la violence à l’encontre des manifestants ne fera que renforcer la détermination et la mobilisation des citoyens, s’accordent à dire les défenseurs des droits de l’Homme et les acteurs de la société civile.
« On est devant une violation flagrante aux libertés de manifestation et de rassemblement en Algérie », dénonce Abdelouahab Fersaoui président de RAJ. Selon lui, « ces agissements de la part du pouvoir reflètent l’absence d’une volonté de trouver une solution à la crise et de répondre favorablement aux revendications du mouvement populaire ».
« La violence de la part du pouvoir n’est pas chose nouvelle. Souvenez-vous qu’il y a eu des interpellations et des femmes ont été humiliées dans un commissariat. Mais cela n’affaiblira et n’impactera pas négativement le mouvement, pour la simple raison que le peuple algérien est déterminé à aller jusqu’au bout dans sa marche vers l’instauration d’un Etat de droit et vers le changement de ce système », ajoute-t-il.
Pour Saïd Salhi, vice-président de la LADDH, l’usage de la violence contre les manifestants signe un retour « des pratiques que nous avons cru révolues », des pratiques en cours sous le système de l’ex-président Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
