Le blogueur Abdellah Benaoum a été libéré, ce lundi 3 juin, a appris TSA auprès d’un de ses avocats, Me Abdelghani Badi. « Il a été aujourd’hui. Le bâtonnier de Sidi Bel-Abbes a introduit hier une demande de liberté provisoire auprès du procureur général qui l’a acceptée », a déclaré Me Badi.
« Cette mesure du parquet permet de sauver la vie à Bennaoum et donne le sentiment qu’il y a encore de la bonne volonté », a expliqué Me Badi qui souhaite que l’ensemble des détenus politiques et d’opinion soient libérés. « Il existe encore des centaines de cas comme Bennaoum dans les prisons. Ces pratiques doivent cesser. On ne doit plus mettre en prison une personne pour avoir exprimé une opinion politique », a-t-il affirmé.
Abdallah Benaoum purgeait une peine de deux ans au pénitencier de Sidi Bel Abbès. Il a été condamné à deux ans d’emprisonnent pour outrage au président Bouteflika. Il a observé une grève de la faim. Il y a quelques jours, son avocat avait alerté l’opinion nationale sur la dégradation de son état de santé.
