ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Me Mokrane Ait Larbi dénonce de « graves violations des libertés »
Maître Mokrane Aït Larbi réagit à l’interdiction de brandir le drapeau amazigh lors des marches mouvement populaire, une décision qu’il qualifie d’atteinte « injustifiable » à la liberté.
« Dans le domaine des libertés, nous assistons à de « graves violations, notamment l’interdiction de la bannière amazighe que le peuple a brandie avec fierté dans toutes les villes du pays. Malgré l’interdiction, le peuple continue à la brandir à côté de l’emblème national », écrit le défenseur des droits de l’Homme dans une déclaration rendue publique ce samedi 22 juin.
Évoquant la situation politique du pays, Aït Larbi note que « certains estiment que l’élection présidentielle est tributaire d’une période de transition pour garantir la transparence et l’honnêteté du scrutin, tandis que le pouvoir reste attaché à l’organisation de l’élection rapidement par le chef de l’État et le gouvernement Bedoui ».
Pour lui, « le souci de ceux qui ne pensent qu’à l’élection se limite à l’accession au pouvoir et à ses privilèges. Si l’élection est une nécessité, il n’en demeure pas moins qu’elle doit être précédée d’une charte des libertés, des droits de l’Homme, de la justice sociale et de l’égalité entre tous les Algériens. C’est une telle charte qui empêchera à l’avenir tout exercice du pouvoir en dehors de la volonté populaire et astreindra le président de la République et le gouvernement au respect des principes fondamentaux du système démocratique ».
L’avocat croit que « sans une telle charte, quel que soit le délai d’organisation de l’élection, le vainqueur s’attèlera à élaborer une constitution conforme à ses désirs et à ceux de son clan et fera entrer l’Algérie dans l’ère d’une nouvelle issaba ».
