ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Les étudiants insistent sur une Algérie «libre et démocratique»
La mobilisation des étudiants est restée intacte en ce 18ème mardi de protestation contre le système en place malgré les tentatives de répression.
Encore une fois, les forces de l’ordre ont tenté d’empêcher la marche des étudiants; elles ont même essayé d’arrêter un étudiant qui portait un drapeau amazigh, à la rue Bab Azoun à Alger. Les étudiants ont poursuivi leur parcours en se dirigeant vers la Grande Poste d’Alger où le nombre de policiers antiémeutes déployés était très important. Des escarmouches ont éclaté entre étudiants et policiers, au moment où les manifestants voulaient se diriger vers la rue Amirouche. Les étudiants ont été repoussés par les éléments de la sûreté nationale. Les manifestants scandaient haut et fort : «L’Algérie libre et démocratique » et «Pouvoir assassin», «Libérez les jeunes détenus, ils n’ont pas commis de crime», «Etat civil et non militaire», «Pour une Algérie démocratique et plurielle». Si le drapeau amazigh n’était pas présent lors de cette marche, de nombreux étudiants portaient des tenues traditionnelles reflétant la dimension culturelle amazighe (des robes kabyles, des tenues touareg, des costumes arabo-turcs algérois, le burnous, ainsi que des robes oranaises et constantinoises).
Des tenues vestimentaires qui reflètent en fait la diversité culturelle de notre pays. Sur une pancarte brandie par une étudiante, l’on pouvait lire: «Arrêtons cette diversion et revenons à nos revendications principales, départ de Bensalah et Bedoui et l’installation d’une instance élue par le peuple pour préparer les élections ». Les étudiants se sont dispersés un peu plus tôt que les mardis précédents, laissant ainsi la place à des représentants de la société civile qui ont improvisé des débats avec le public sur le soutien ou non de la démarche entreprise par le chef de l’état-major de l’armée.
Des débats opposant les pour et les contre. Mais le débat dominant concernait surtout l’histoire de l’Algérie et sa dimension culturelle, notamment amazighe, mettant en veilleuse les revendications essentielles du Hirak avec le point focal «le départ du système».
