Des figures emblématiques de la Guerre de libération nationale poursuivent la Révolution en participant régulièrement aux marches des vendredis.
En effet, depuis le 22 février, de véritables icônes de la Révolution de 1954 sortent et manifestent avec les Algériens, qui les accueillent à bras ouverts.
Ainsi, Djamila Bouhired a été bien présente à ce 22e vendredi de marche à Alger où elle a été accueillie avec des youyous et des selfies tout au long du parcours. Malgré son âge, Louisette Ighilahriz a battu, elle aussi, le pavé pour réclamer comme tous les Algériens un changement radical du système. La sœur du martyr Larbi Ben M’hidi fait partie de ces figures de la Révolution qui manifestent régulièrement tous les vendredis.
Leur passage au milieu de la foule ne passe jamais inaperçu. Souvent, les manifestants viennent les saluer et les remercier pour leur soutien à ce mouvement populaire qui réclame une nouvelle Algérie.
Les manifestants, faut-il le souligner, ont toujours mis en avant les figures emblématiques de la Guerre de libération pour leur rendre hommage. D’ailleurs, nombreux sont les manifestants qui appellent à la libération du moudjahid Lakhdar Bouregaâ, ex-commandant de la wilaya IV, placé sous mandat de dépôt pour «atteinte au moral de l’armée et outrage à corps constitué». Avant son arrestation, Lakhdar Bouregaâ faisait partie de ces moudjahidine participant aux marches pour «une Algérie libre et démocratique».
