La ministre de la Culture et des Arts, Malika Bendouda a instruit, dimanche, l’Office national de gestion et d’exploitation des biens culturels protégés (OGEBC) à l’effet “d’intervenir en urgence pour remédier aux actes du sabotage” constatés au niveau du site archéologique de Tazoult dans la wilaya de Batna, indique un communiqué du ministère.
Suite aux actes de sabotage au niveau du site archéologique de Tazoult dans la wilaya de Batna, sous forme de gribouillis sur ses murs, la ministre a donné des instructions à l’OGEBC en vue de “poursuivre en justice les auteurs de ces actes et prendre des mesures juridiques coercitives à l’encontre de chaque coupable”, précise la même source.
La ministre a appelé les services du ministère à travers les wilayas à “la prudence, et à la sécurisation et à la protection des sites archéologiques”, ajoute la même source.
Cet acte de vandalisme confirme, selon elle, “le manque de surveillance indispensable dans ces sites, d’où la nécessité de dépêcher une commission d’inspection pour enquêter sur le sujet”.
