Le Général d’Armée Saïd Chanegriha, Chef d’Etat-Major de l’Armée nationale populaire (ANP), a présidé, mardi, au nom du Président de la République, Chef suprême des Forces armées, ministre de la Défense nationale, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, la cérémonie d’installation du Général-Major Djamel Kehal dans ses nouvelles fonctions de directeur général de la Sécurité intérieure en remplacement du Général-Major Abdelghani Rachedi, indique le ministère de la Défense nationale dans un communiqué.
A l’entame, et au siège de la Direction générale de la Sécurité intérieure, le Général d’Armée a supervisé la cérémonie d’installation du Général-Major Djamel Kehal dans les fonctions de Directeur Général de la Sécurité intérieure en succession au Général-Major Abdelghani Rachedi.”Au nom de Monsieur le président de la République, Chef suprême des Forces armées, ministre de la Défense nationale, et conformément au décret présidentiel du 13 juillet 2022, j’installe officiellement le Général-Major Djamel Kehal dans les fonctions de Directeur général de la Sécurité intérieure en succession au Général-Major Abdelghani Rachedi”, a affirmé le Chef d’Etat-Major de l’ANP.
A cet effet, “je vous ordonne d’exercer sous son autorité et d’exécuter ses ordres et ses instructions dans l’intérêt du service, conformément au règlement militaire et aux lois de la République en vigueur, et par fidélité aux sacrifices de nos vaillants Chouhada et aux valeurs de notre glorieuse Révolution de libération”, a-t-il souligné.
“La cérémonie d’installation a été une occasion pour Monsieur le Général d’Armée de se réunir avec les cadres de cette Direction sensible, auxquels il a donné des instructions et des orientations d’ordre pratique, notamment, en termes de rigueur dans l’accomplissement des lourdes missions qui leur incombent, et qui requièrent de consentir davantage d’efforts persévérants et loyaux, afin de parfaitement s’en acquitter”, ajoute le communiqué.
“Enfin, Monsieur le Général d’Armée a signé le procès-verbal de la passation de pouvoir”, conclut la même source.
