La Direction générale de la protection civile (DGPC) a organisé dimanche, au niveau de l’unité nationale d’instruction et d’intervention de Dar El-Beida (Alger), une réunion d’évaluation pour la présentation des rapports d’intervention de la protection civile, lors de la vague d’incendies qui a récemment frappé plusieurs wilayas du pays.
A cette occasion, le lieutenant-colonel Abdelkrim Habi a précisé que cette réunion évaluative a été l’occasion de présenter les rapports d’intervention des unités de la protection civile durant les opérations d’extinction des feux, lors des derniers incendies ayant touché plusieurs wilayas du pays, et ce, afin d’en améliorer la qualité, mais aussi pour mieux maitriser les difficultés rencontrées sur le terrain.
Cette rencontre s’est tenue sous la supervision du Directeur de l’organisation et de la coordination des secours, et du Directeur de la prévention, avec la participation des chefs de service de la protection générale des 8 wilayas sinistrées, à savoir Bejaia, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Jijel, Skikda, Boumerdes, El Tarf et Médéa.
Il est également à noter que ces opérations d’extinction ont connu la participation de plus 8.000 éléments de la protection civile, et plus de 500 engins d’intervention, en sus du renfort aérien à l’aide de canadairs et d’hélicoptères.
